After hearing a lecture at my quilt guild from Lisa Ellis, I got super excited about doing a healing quilt project in East Tennessee. I meet with East Tennessee Children's Hospital and they agreed to take some quilts, frame them and hang them in the hospital. Today I got to see 5 of them hanging. I turned the quilts into them in January and its September, so its been a long journey. However, the quilts look great. Hopefully this will lead to something else.
This is hanging outside the restrooms in the North Tower just down from the gift shop.
The next four are hanging inside the Radiology Department waiting room.
This is the one I made.
Our second installation was delivered to East Tennessee Children's Hospital on 2/13/2020.
They wanted woodlawn animals this time. Here are the quilts I got
