2021 Sewing/Quilting finishes

My first finish for 2021 is my row for Leslie Hinson quilt top.

Mine is the top row. I love how Leslie did this. She took a panel and cut up the barn quilt blocks. She have us each 2 and requested we not put anything between rows. It is going to be so cute!
I made project bags:
I spent yesterday, January 29th making project bags for my cross stitch. Love making them!
This is a quilt I made for my friend Mary. She had surgery and I wanted to do something for her. The fat quarters were purchased from Fabric 'n Quilts. The theme is camping since she camps with her friend John.
This quilt is the sample for the Building Blocks quilt class I developed. I hope it is successful. I love this class.
I have made several of these baskets for a class I'm teaching at Mountain Creek Quilt Shop.
I made these blocks for my Improv class I will be teaching at Mountain Creek Quilt Shop in May.
These will be a samples for my Improv class:

I finished this Christmas Diagonal Illusion quilt. I gifted it to Jessica Holmes this weekend for Mother's Day.
This is for a class I hope to teach at Mountain Creek in string piecing. It is all Tula Pink fabric. I love it!!! It turned out so cute.

This is the third improv top I finished.
These two pillows will be samples for a Tensisters grid class at Mountain Creek.
This project bag will be mailed today to Michelle Bendy in Oregon. She is a Flosstuber I follow on YouTube. When she announced on her YouTube channel that she wanted to have this piece made into a project bag, I volunteered. She said she had several people offer, so I never thought she would pick me, but she did! I sure hope likes it. Here is the email I got from Michelle today: Lynn,

Oh my GOODNESS!! Thank you SO MUCH! My bags arrived today and I'm absolutely FLOORED! I could not love my #30Days30Threads bag more. The fabric you used is beautiful! Rosie is already loading her bag up, lol. She took it and ran. I can't wait to see what she puts into it.

And the bowl. You MADE THAT?! It's my new giant ort catcher for when I empty my smaller ort catchers. Thank you.

How would you feel if I used one of the bags to raise money for MMIW in September/October? I'm going to be hosting charity auctions again and I think your bag paired with a chart would do excellently well.

Thank you again, so much.

Michelle

I took a class from the owner of TenSisters, Carmen Geddes at Mountain Creek Quilt Shop. We made a table runner. I finished mine today.

Here is the back.

Here is the front. I used Glitter thread from Superior and my walking foot to quilt it.
I'm working hard trying to get all the samples for my 2022 classes for Mountain Creek Quilt Shop. This is my favorite so far - a hoodie made from a quilt
I made the pattern from an old hoodie I own. The fabric is pre-printed fabric I purchased from JoAnn's. The next class I worked on was the Geometric Bags class
I think this will be a fun class.

Finished 2 more hoodie sweatshirts:
This is Kantha embroidery fabric from Windham Fabrics that I purchased at Mountain Creek Quilt Shop.

This was an apple core quilt that my Mother made. I love how it turned out. I used the binding as the hem on the bottom and the sleeves.

A friend of mine, Nikki Anderson asked me to assist her in taking a quilt made by her great-great grandmother and make it into table runners for the family. Here are the finished pieces. I saved one piece to make into a baby quilt for Nikki's daughter.
