Things I made in 2020

Marian and I went to Taylor's to have a girl's day with her and Jessica. We went to Mason's first basketball game. It was fun. Then we went to Board and Brush. I made a tray this year. Here is our pictures.
This is the quilt I made for our second installation at ETCH
This is a quilt kit I purchased last year at Jackman's in St. Louis while I was working a Consumer Training
I took a class at Gina's Bernina to learn to smock. I wish I could sew a little girls dress to use it on. I may try and add it to a woman's shirt. Once I redo it. This was just practice.
Due to Covid-19 all my travel has been cancelled. This is giving me some time to do things, but not much motivation.
I finished my entry into the 2020 Challenge for the guild.
I am calling her Ruby. We had to use the red fabric which we purchased from Wendy @ Stipples, Etc. We also had to put 40 into it somewhere. I have 40 of the blades to the Dresden plate block. It was quilted 1/2 on my sit down and half on my domestic machine. Then I put some yo-yos on it.
Next to be finished was the class I took with Klaudeen Hansen at the Pigeon Forge Quilt Show in March. I love it.
This is before I quilted it. I have named it The Grand Illusion. I quilted it free motion on my sit down and and very pleased with how she turned out. Probably my favorite quilt. Taylor has already claimed her so she will go to her after the quilt show. Here is the front and back after quilting:

The finished quilt!

I also finished piecing the Charlotte Angotti top I did in class in Pigeon Forge and the Linda Hahn (see below)
class I took in Pigeon Forge in 2019. Going to quilt them and I will post them on here.
I have also been doing a little crocheting.
This will be donated to the SMQ Quilt Show to sell in the boutique. I have made 3 of these. The other two are edged in green and orange.
This is my ribbon for the SMQ quilt show. My category is traditional.

This is a sample project for Consumer Training when we finally have it again. It is made up of several types of batting.

This is the bear paw quilt for the guild's show. Members of the guild made up each paw. I put them all together. The quilt will be quilted by Andrew Lee and given away at the quilt show.

This is a charity quilt I picked up at the guild meeting. I quilted it and bound it.

This was a charity quilt that I sewed together.

This is a class I took in 2019 with Linda Hahn. I will get it quilted soon.

This is my latest finished project - The Cat's in the Cradle
This is to show the quilting. I used my walking foot and quilted the whole background. Then I raw edged appliqued the cat onto the front.

The pattern is from The Meredith Collection. The picture was developed from a Charley Harper painting. The Quilt pattern was done by Keri Duke. I purchased the pattern at a Quilt Show I worked in Georgia.

Now I am working on a cross stitch and some more walking foot quilting.
This is my cross stitch completely finished. I'm very proud of how it turned out. The pattern is called Calico Village by Linda Myers
This is the latest quilt top I have finished. I saw it on Pinterest and fell in love. Then Marian gave me some 2 1/2" Tula Pink Fabric strips. I love the way it turned out.
I did my first crochet along with Yarnspiration. It was a five week only program. Here is my finished afghan.
Another Klaudeen Hanson Diagonal Illusion quilt done with Tula Pink fabric -

Blue baby afghan
This is my second row quilt I did the top row.

I am doing the Nebula Block of the month in January. The designer is doing a Road to Nebula to help us get ready for the journey. The first pattern is called Seaside and is a table runner. I did mine in Christmas fabric.

I took a zipper class from Terri at Mountain Creek Quilt Shop. This is the bag we finished in class.
This is Lucky Charm, the second of pattern on the Journey to Nebula. Love how it turned out.

Here is the Jawbreaker pillow -
This is a table runner I made for Taylor. The colored diamonds are Vera Bradley material I purchased at Quilt Con.

This is the back of my completed round robin.

This is the front of my completed round robin.

This is the round robin by Denise Holloway. I did the row on the right.
This is a table runner I made for Jessica, my daughter's best friend. It is made with the left over fabric from Taylor's.

Jessica sent me a picture of her table runner on her table. That always makes me happy.

This is the next row I completed in the Row robin - It is Jennifer Wilkerson's. Mine is the row on top. This one will be oriented vertically. Jennifer started with the row second from the bottom. She wanted to highlight the fabric which are tattoo zombies.

Here is the latest Journey to Nebula - Rock Candy. Its going on our table.
I feel in love with this at a quilt show while I was working for  Juki. I finally got it pieced with my favorite Tula Pink fabric. I'll get it quilted soon.
I made a travel pillow for Isaiah for Christmas but decided to give it to Mason. Look below to see the replacement one I made for Isaiah.

Then I made pillow cases for the kids. The plain gray ones belong to Taylor the others belong to Keri and Jonas.

Isaiah's new travel pillow
I purchased this kit so many years ago I don't remember it. But I finished it yesterday. First time I've used beads on a cross stitch piece. I'm very pleased with how it looks. I needed something to consume me. I was in Covid isolation after being exposed by Taylor's boyfriend.
