National Park blocks

 My favorite quilt shop, Mountain Creek Quilt Shop in Maryville has started a new program. There is a line of fabric that features all the National Parks. They are using a book from Tula Pink called 100 Modern Blocks. Each block will be dedicated to a different park. We started with the Great Smoky Mountains since it is closest. We got a fat quarter from 5 different fabrics. Since we didn't need much fabric (the blocks are only 6" finished) we made several blocks using different combinations of the fabrics. When we are all finished we will have a beautiful modern quilt. Here are my first blocks:
